Regina Coleman

Accessibility Consultant

Regina's work with individuals with disabilities began at the Department of Justice (DOJ). As a Disability Investigator, she enforced the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and carried out responsibilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Rehab Act). In this position, she also worked with organizations at the Federal, state, and local levels to strengthen equality and access for individuals with disabilities across the nation. It was this position that led Regina to truly garner a passion to continue to be a public service professional. An example of the invaluable work that she accomplished with the Disability Rights Section includes, but not limited to, surveying multiple city and community buildings across the United States to ensure compliance and guarantee sound, physical access and accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
