Data/About

Our primary data sources are the nVision Data Warehouse, the Business Intelligence Information System, the Office of Intramural Research Principal Investigator Database, and iComplaints. We use data from these systems to provide analyses which:

  • Support Management Directive 715 (MD-715) (link to latest MD-715 report) barrier analyses;
  • Keep the ICs informed of the composition of and trends in their respective workforces;
  • Enable EEO investigators to obtain the information necessary to investigate claims of discrimination; and
  • Assist internal and external partners in assessing diversity and inclusion efforts.

Our team of Analysts partners internally with staff from the Office of Human Resources, Office of Intramural Research, Office of Extramural Research and the Chief Officer for Scientific Workforce Diversity. We partner externally with staff from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office of Personnel Management, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
