We all have a responsibility to correct systemic racism and inequities.
The belief in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual influences positive change. Together we can foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and respect for one another so that justice will endure.
Failure to acknowledge, recognize, and correct past cruelties will always lead to repeated uncivil behavior.”
–Treava Hopkins-Laboy,
Acting Director, NIH/EDI
