The Community Outreach Committee of FAPAC National is hosting its annual Student Program as part of the National Leadership Training Program virtually on Thursday, May 27, 2021, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm EST, and we are thrilled to extend the invitation to you! An exciting announcement is that NASA Astronaut, Raja Chari, will be the opening keynote speaker. He will talk about his own career path and address the insecurities that he faced and how he overcame them. Raja is one of the three astronauts selected to fly to the International Space Station this coming Fall 2021!

Students who are interested in networking, finding an internship, or are considering working in the federal government in the future are all highly encouraged to register. The invited panelists are young professionals who have completed internships in various federal agencies. They will provide an honest dialogue about their experiences and are offering personal insight, advice, and information about unique internship opportunities.

This year’s virtual event is free for students (high school/college/graduate), as well as recent grads and young professionals:

  • College and graduate students should register with their .edu email address.
  • High school students/alumni/recent graduates/young professionals without a .edu email should sign up with this alternative link.

There will be a panelist for STEM, Arts and Humanities, and more for those still undecided; learn more.
