The National Institutes of Health is pleased to recognize February as Black History Month. The many accomplishments of African Americans who make a difference every day in their communities, occupations, and families, especially at the NIH, deserves recognition and celebration. Please use this month's observance as a reminder of how our Nation becomes stronger, more powerful and considerably more successful when it embraces a variety of cultures, beliefs, races and ethnicities.
Visit the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion’s Twitter and Instagram pages to find NIH African American Scientists who are making numerous contributions to science and medicine. Sincerely yours,
